1966 Cadillac Coupe Deville And Many More!

Cadillac Coupe DeVille

This Cadillac might be your regular old Coupe DeVille, but the posting here on craigslist is most curious. It seems Bob is selling this one owner Cadillac for a family friend, but he also has lots of other classics for sale as well as “TRUCKS, BIKES, ENGINES AND OUTO PARTS FOR SALE.” The Corvette Sting Ray, for example, does look a bit more interesting!

The Cadillac is a rust free California car and is said to have always been garaged by the original owner, who is now in her 90s. It looks pretty nice in the pictures, so $6,500 or best offer might not be too unreasonable. But then there’s the 1955 Chrysler New Yorker.

It would be interesting to see this guys collection, assuming it’s for real. The pictures appear to have all been taken in different places, so that leaves us wondering what the story is here. Checking out this Cadillac might be good pretense to find out more about the other cars. What do you think?

It would be appropriate for Barnfinds to note the location every time in the initial email so that those that are not near some location can assess the value of pursuing a particular vehicle.

Sorry about that, we try to always make sure we note the location of the cars in the post for that very reason, but this one got through without the location. Sorry!

I like the Chrysler! This is a strange mix, and he doesn’t refer to any personal points about his other listings, which makes me think he is trying to broker some sales of local cars in his area…. that’s my guess…??

went to the CL listing, clicked on more ads by this user. The Caddy, a 29 Willys, the 55 New Yorker and a Desoto grill were all that were listed, very much wanted to check out the Corvette. I tend to think this individual may be one who offers his selling skills to folks to “help” sell their vehicle for a piece of the action. BTW in one of the photos where a 1970s’ model Chevy blazer is shown, there appears to be what is possibly a Borgward Isabella sans roof panel, unless it it the much rarer convertible model which had a rag top like the old Ramblers in the early 50s’ had.
