I miss my Alfa Romeo. I miss the four-wheel disc brakes, the smooth shifting five-speed, and oh… the sound of that twin-cam. I eventually succumbed to fears of rust and mechanical fuel-injectection and regretfully sold my beloved GTV. They are great little cars that allow you to experience the Italian spirit of much more expensive marques for a lot less outlay. This project pair is going to take a lot of time and money to set right, but those memories make them tempting. They are both from 1971, one being a 1750 and the other a 2000. Find the whole package here on eBay where bidding is currently at $102. Thanks goes to Jim S. for the tip!

They were great cars, when buying a pair of cars to make one good driver you always want to find the pair needing different items, example one great right front fender the other a great left fender, these however need the same thing they both lack everything from the bottom of the doors, also known as the unibody or frame.
By european standards these are both salvageable, probably not viable if you are looking purely at values, but thats not the point. I used to work in the body trade & have restored far worse, we used to do Fords that needed everything from the transmission tunnel outwards & up to 12 inches up pillars plus wings, rear arches, door skins & frame bottoms, inner wings & front pannels!!!!
There is no justification to get involved in these…………maybe for parts. I love old Alfa’s but to what end………
