MGB’s seem to collect in groups. When I first saw this find sent in by Olaf E, I thought it might be this one that Jesse had written up previously–but some of those were GT’s. This set of three roadsters, one with a rare factory hardtop, is located in Deale, Maryland and can be found here on craigslist for $2,500 for all three. But that’s not all, as the hucksters would say! You also get over 1,000 pounds in additional spare parts, including an extra overdrive transmission, sets of SU carburetors, wire and Rostyle wheels, rebuilt kingpins and much more. The owner has to sell quickly as they are moving. As far as the cars go, the red one is a 1965 with bad floors but OK sills, the blue one is a 1972 with factory hardtop and overdrive but very rusty, and the white one is a stalled restoration project with a professionally rebuilt engine that the seller may still have the receipt for. If there really are two overdrive transmissions and a rebuilt engine, that’s value more than the listed price already. Having done rust repair on an MGB twice, I’m not willing to take that problem on again, but if you are this would be a terrific project, and you might be able to pay for it by selling the spares.
