The seller of this Model A is short on words, but I think this truck speaks for itself. It looks to be a solid project, with some surface rust showing but nothing that looks serious yet. Apparently the engine has already been rebuilt, so I assume that means it runs. Supposedly the transmission and rear end are fine, but I’m not sure what exactly that means. This could turn out to be a running and driving rig. If you think this truck is worth a closer look, you can find it here on eBay in Brampton, Ontario, Canada with a BIN of $8,400.00 CDN.
I’d do just what I had to do to make it safe and dependable, then I’d drive the crap out of it. I rarely leave town anyway, it’d be great for putting around town.
My Grandfather used to own one of these. He loved it because he bought it from his employer without a bed so he made one that was longer that factory length.
I have a 1929 Ford Model A Hearse if anyone is interested for $24,000. 573-541-1970
I really love this truck but it’s way too original and nice for a modifier like me, it would become a street rod and I would feel guilty doing that to it. Hope someone who appreciates it’s original looks will scoop it up.
Totally agree. As much as I am typically an originality restorer and enthusiast, man I can just see the possibilities and still keeping it tasteful….
Way over priced for all the parts missing, no radiator, door hardware, floor boards. if the engine has been rebuilt I wonder when? from the picture of the engine compartment there are a lot of questions. I own Model A’s I would think 3K is more reasonable.
Priced way too high, seller should keep in mind his best buyers pool is dropping off day by day as the grim reaper makes his rounds.
