Back in August, we featured a Pontiac Catalina that was parked in a neighbor’s driveway. After approaching them, they admitted they were interested in selling it. So I put together a post about it and whether you guys thought it was worth saving. Well Barn Finds Reader Don E. thought so and came up yesterday to rescue it. After all these years we got it started, pumped up the tires and drove it into the trailer under its own power! Don plans on getting the interior fixed up so he can start enjoying it as soon as possible! Hopefully, he will keep us posted on his progress and we wish him the best with this old Poncho! It just goes to show, don’t hesitate to talk to your neighbors about that classic they have in their driveway or garage, it might just lead to a great deal!

Will you post some under the hood pics and interior pics?
Somehow I missed the original post or I would have been there. What town was this in?
The Pontiac was in Sacramento, hope it stays in CA. I was a bit slow to respond or it would be in my garage now. Also I suspect this was a one owner car.?
what Joe said….good deal it’s got a new home…..a post car is really rare in that body style….
Hey Don, I’ve got a set of Pontiac dog dish caps that would be perfect for that car.
Very cool! Nice car; all the best, with it!
