12 Years Stored: 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula

Modern barn finds are so intriguing because we don’t often see a late-model vehicle look like it’s been hidden away for years upon years. This 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula appears to be in this exact state, however, languishing in a garage where it’s covered in years’ worth of dust and looking quite sorry for itself. The Firebird is equipped with an LT1 and described as having been a runner when parked. Find it here on Facebook Marketplace in King of Prussia, PA.

As you can see, this Firebird is not the only car taking up space in this packed garage in PA. It still looks ready to rumble, however, with the keys hanging in the trunk lock looking like the owner was planning on coming back the next day and going for a drive. The tinted taillights and clean five-spoke wheels were among my favorite features from this era of the Firebird, and I can’t help but think of how easily this one would clean up.

The Firebird was optioned with a desirable leather interior when new, which did wonders for the typically shabby-looking GM interiors of the day. These nicely-contoured bucket seats showed you that the General could be serious about making its marquee muscle car into a player when the owner was willing to check the boxes for those upgrades, but these seats will still need some love given the rips in the seat cushion material. The Firebird is equipped with an automatic transmission; no surprise there.

The car isn’t completely stock, featuring a Borla cold air intake and possibly more that the seller doesn’t know about. The ad reads like the car is being listed on behalf of the owner, but I have no evidence to support that beyond the listing not reading like that of an impassioned muscle car owner. While this era of Firebird is hardly the most desirable one out there, the price seems quite reasonable to me for a modern muscle car that would be a ton of fun to drive once the cobwebs are blown off.

One small correction The ad says it has a cold air intake and a Borla aftermarket EXHAUST system I do not think Borla Made cold air intake probably k&n $2500 is a decent price for this one

Tons of fun on this one.. The interior alone would require lots of beer and wine.
    I like it..

Assuming that the engine isn’t frozen, this could be a fun and easy father/son or daddy/daughter project.

The family fun would stop being fun as soon as they try to do a tune-up, got to love the cam driven distributor behind water pump.
