1964 Chrysler 300 Survivor

left front

Charles H. spotted this really nice Chrysler here on eBay in Santa Monica, California. It’s being sold by a dealer, West Coast Classics, so there’s not much info on the car except that it was stored for awhile. It’s got a 350 horsepower version of the 383. The $18,500 asking is ambitious, but they are taking bids. The car appears completely original and there’s no rust showing. The 40,000 original mile claim seems plausible, but you won’t know about the “completely rust free” claim until you have a peek underneath. The dealer says it’s a one owner, always garaged car. If this Chrysler is as nice as they claim, what do you think it’s worth? Wouldn’t this make a  grand cruiser! I hope the new owner keeps this original.

The buckets and console make this car somewhat rare.

When I think of what Ihave invested in my 63 300 and it’s still not finished, makes this car a total bargain with a bit of rarity thrown in!

What a fine looking car! I’d love to owe this if I had the money!

Nice car indeed, but most likely not a “survivor”.
Another dealer throwing the term around.
Obviously the engine, engine compartment etc has been restored/repainted.
And by the looks of it, the entire car has probably been painted.
No dings, scratches, or nose rash, after 50 years, not possible no matter the mileage.
