This 1967 Impala really is loaded, but hopefully all that stuff doesn’t come with the car. Bidding here on eBay, with almost 4 days left is at $709. Except for the rust under the vinyl top, this Chevy appears to be pretty much rust free. The 327 has not been run in 10 years and needs a distributor, but it’s complete and the owner has all the interior and exterior parts that have been removed. The car is located in Sacramento, so if anyone is serious about this, I’ll be glad to have a look and take more pictures. How much do you think this old Impala is worth? The average selling price is over $20,000, but could this be repaired for that amount or less? Perhaps someone can get it drivable and restore it over time.
Having fond memories of driving a non-SS ’67 Impala I’m suprised to note that the SS package does NOT include gauges but instead the full set of idiot lights that were on my car… -_-;
All SS cars were a trim package. tachs, gauges and engines were additional options. This one is likely too rough to save.
Wow, talk about a flashback. I had an SS as my first car. I bought it from my high school ag teacher’s mother for $800. It had Chevy gold paint, bucket seats and “T” shifter in a floor console. My father and I stripped it inside and out to restore-ish it. We did everything ourselves except the pin-striping which a local guy applied. The 327 just needed a little refresh as she literally just drove it to church and the local grocery store with an occasional trip to Waco to see her doctor. It was a sled for sure and one of the top 3 cars, of the many I’ve owned and rebuilt over the last 35+ years, that I wish I still had. Only problem with it was the rear of the center console. Someone had stepped on it years ago and there were no aftermarket ones available back then. Lot’s of lifetime memories made in that car.
One of my favorite Chevy’s. Neighbor had one new and it was a nice ride.
I had this cars twin in high school. Painted the exact same way. Was originally Tahoe Turquoise from the factory. Was a fun car at 16 in the late 80’s. But the juvenile delinquent I was killed that poor poor car. Would like to find another one some day. Sigh
This is my 67 SS, 327, Rochester Cuadrajet, 4 speed (Muncie), disc brakes, p/s, a/a, rally pack, bucket seats, console, a real jewel (Numbers matching), I love it.

a bud has 3 of these for sale in alot better shape tha this one. would make you a package deal. he drove one up till last year. my drill sargent had one in germany 427 4 spd. it was just called a ss. i think it was a 67. man it was down right scary just to ride in.

Lots of kewl options indeed, but not over the top by any means. Hope he’s got the A/C Compressor somewhere, tho i guess that may be the least of your worries if you’ve gotta deal with reviving this thing…
