1968 Corvette 427: 390 Horses

68 Corvette Convertible

Reader Carworksct found a nice Corvette stashed in a garage. This ’68 Vette was parked about 22 years ago and hasn’t moved since. With 71k miles on the dial, it isn’t super low mileage, but it’s low enough to guarantee that it isn’t completely worn out. They just pulled out of the garage and have already started working on it, with the goal of getting it running and driving again. It looks like all it needs cosmetically is a good cleaning and some wax! I would love to find a Corvette like this hidden away in a garage, especially one with the 427. What’s incredible is that this L36 isn’t even the most powerful Vette offered in ’68! Hopefully Carworksct will keep us posted on their progress and I wish them the best with their new project! I think that car is Corvette Bronze, one year 1968 Color only. I ‘ve owned 2 1968’s painted that color both 427/435 cars

Looks like Corvette Bronze over Tobacco. If it’s an Auto I’d like to know.
