50 Year Collection For Auction

The Building storing the contents of this auction was purchased by a former Seattle Washington Harley Davidson dealer 50 years ago. There are all sorts of interesting things available in this no reserve auction, and we are sure there is something you will like. Find it here on Dragers Classic Cars, out of Seattle Washington. The actual auction location is in Anacortes, Washington. Thanks to our reader Jo G for the awesome submission!

This collection is extensive and multifaceted. There are plenty of vintage bikes that range from the 1950s-1960s, as well as radios, tools, and a few interesting automobiles. The auction lists that there are some rare Harley Items mixed in with this collection, though we don’t see much in the way of motorcycle memorabilia.

The 1958 Pontiac Starchief 2 door hardtop and the 1942 Whidbey Island open fire truck look to both be in fine condition with a lot of hope to being drivers again. There is very little offered in the way of specifics, but the eyes can wander these images to see if this may be an auction that you may want to attend.

There are a few pedal cars kicking around this auction as well, though most seem to be fairly common 1950s-1960s units. Although if you take a closer look, you will see some items that are older than the 1950s. For instance there are a few visible gas pumps in this building, as well as a few older brass era fire extinguishers. There is also a hit-miss engine hanging around, and there is plenty of automobilia.

Did we also mention that there is a King’s ransom of hubcaps? Well, there are plenty of hubcaps, and there is also an interesting standard Volkswagen convertible that has been converted into a Baja bug. As said before, there is plenty to see and find in this old building, and we can’t even see what is stashed away on the shelves or in the boxes.

The auctioneer has created a video showing further showcasing this collection, all while creating a bigger desire to go rummage around to see what may be hidden there. Do you see anything you can’t live without?

I agree. You know Mike and Frank would sniff out all of the rare Harley odds and ends, as well as anything else that’s cool, or unique.

This is a good example of why you should enjoy your collection while you have it, because the kids, grandkids, and family are only going to look at it as a cash grab when you kick it.

Lot of cool stuff in there, this one will probably be a madhouse if they advertise it right.

Yep, it’s the 13th and I just got it. Come on Barn-finds !!!! Wake up and smell the coffee. You’ve been asleep behind the wheel for a few days at least on this one. Why advertise something that’s already gone ???

He said the Picker guys couldn’t fit coming by before the auction –

kinda like we couldn’t find out about this until after it happened.

My Harley buddies would have been all over this….and those Kwik Way boring bars I would have brought home !

I find it interesting that there was a Honda minibike in the mix. Maybe the ex-Harley dealer finally realized just which brand builds better bikes. As for all the references to Laurel and Hardy from my state…..the two idiots that give my state a bad name, the nose pickers….wake up and smell the coffee….their show is a set up as in faked. And, how anyone can stand the tall ones voice is beyond me.
