BF Exclusive: 1935 Chevrolet Coupe

The third car to come from the guys at Eufaula Ford is a bit of a puzzle, literally it’s a giant puzzle that needs to be put back together. Chevy Coupes of this era are always in demand with those looking to build a sweet hot rod. Given the condition, I think this one would be the perfect candidate for customization work. With a more modern V8, new suspension, brakes and a interior you’d have one killer machine!

From Jack – This is a 1935 Chevrolet Coupe. Believe it or not, we took this Coupe in on trade. We have no interest in turning this puzzle into a car. But we know someone will though. Maybe that is you. The photos show the entirety of what you get when you purchase this car. Hopefully, you will be able to recognize what everything is. Please consider coming to Eufaula Ford in Eufaula, Oklahoma to confirm exactly what you are buying. Priced at $3,500. Call Brian at 918-689-7767

I’m not sure about their asking price, but it might be worth making them an offer and seeing what happens. If you’ve been on the hunt for a ’35 Coupe to build into the hot rod of your dreams, this one is waiting for you to build it the way you want! So if it were your’s, would you customize it and if so, what would you do with it?

More photos of this Coupe can be found here, so be sure to take a look!

The ultimate flipper! He probably gave $100 for it on trade. These Chevies have a really attractive profile in my opinion and make great hotrods. All you need to start is a frame and the body shell – that will keep you busy for a while!! Those “knee-action” units are probably worth something to someone building an original car but otherwise they are terrible!!

$3500 ? What has this hobby become ? No wonder average guy is driving a Toyota. It’s a sad day for the regular car crazy people like myself.

I can dig a 36 Chevy hot rod. I wonder how much to get that pile of parts to this?

Nobody says you have to build a show car out of it, Would make a GREAT Rat rod or custom street rod. $3500?? WAY too high,,,I have seen nice project cars for a lot less. In fact, give me a call,,Ill sell you a 1937 Chevy coupe project for less WITH a TITLE right now. (I am in Oregon) But that being said… I would take that project on if the price was lower. (Which is why I currently have 3 prewar coupe projects)
But would love to see if it sells as a reference. I ALSO would love to see something like this get back on the road,…. Heres a little hint kids. You title it as the car above, then you surf Craigslist and start looking for a donor car. Preferably something with the same wheelbase. Combine the 2. Something with Power steering, good brakes, and good power that floats your boat. Do something creative and not just another cookie cutter street rod like all the others.

For example… We have a Ford Exploder with V8 and AWD, nice leather interior and being a Eddy Bauer edition, has a lot of bells and whistles. I am looking VERY seriously at combining my 1939 Dodge coupe with the Exploder and All terrain tires all the way around, Nerf bars and crash bars,, and the AWD Commutter car from HELL! A few bullet holes and flame throwing exhaust will keep the idiots at a good distance.

Lol Doug, I forgot about the Exploder term. The first time I heard it was from a Ford tech buddy of mine.

leiniedude, thanks,,, Yep, we used to have a friend who modified his emblems, not hard to do at the wrecking yard. I should have mentioned we paid $1000 for our Exploder and while it runs and drives has some serious issues including a nasty mold odor in the carpet, and body. Also some serious electrical issues on and off again. Stripped down and in a Rat rod configuration we would have good access to everything. With the price,,, its an affordable and fun project. No need to blow $50k. Be on the road for well under $5k. I had to laugh as I got 2 up votes and 2 down votes. some people have no sense of humor.

There’s a lot of wood inner frame work to deal with especially on the 36 and older chevys, but we’ll worth the effort. I have a 35 with a bbc blower combo and it’s a blast to drive
