BF Exclusive: Barn Finds Liquidation Pt. 2

Tim has been busy getting information and photos over to us for more of his barn finds, so we decided to just share the whole batch with you! This group includes a 1950 Ford F-1, 1963 Olds Dynamic 88 Holiday Coupe, 1969 Lincoln Continental, 1970 Ford F-250 Sport Custom. You can find photos and information about each one below! And you can contact Tim via email here and they can be found in Bellingham, Washington.

From Tim – Here is a link to some pics of the old Ford F1 pickup. It runs and drives and is licensed and insured, clear title etc. It is one of the first cars that I pulled out of the building. I got it running so I could drive it around just for kicks. It has a 1953 Mercery flathead that someone transplanted in at some point. Otherwise it is in very original condition. In fact the original straight 6 was in the bed and I still have it if someone wanted to go back to all original. This old truck always gets lots of attention whenever I have it out. I’m asking $10,000.

Link to the 1963 Olds Dynamic 88 Holiday Coupe. It’s a 2 door hardtop with a 394 V8, auto trans, PS, PB. Runs and drives. I put a new PS pump, alternator, all new brakes and master cylinder, new tires, all new belts and hoses, cleaned the fuel system and carb, plus a few other things on it and have been driving it around for fun. I even took it to a couple of car shows as an all original survivor car. I have new shocks and a new PS booster in the trunk just waiting for the snow to melt and the temp to warm up before they are installed. I found the original paperwork for this one including the original sales and dealer service records in the trunk. Very little rust. Odo reads a touch over 47,000 miles and from the condition of the car I would guess that is right but of course there is no way for me to tell for sure. Asking $12,000.

And here are more photos of the 1969 Lincoln Continental. It does run and drive. It has the 460 V8. I haven’t cleaned the fuel tank on that one but I did do the fuel pump and carb and then just test ran it off of a 2 gallon fuel can. Someone couldn’t drive it home without cleaning the fuel tank and getting some new tires on it at a minimum. It has some fairly light rust behind the back wheel on the drivers side. The rockers, floor pans and trunk are solid though. I am thinking of $2,000 asking price for that one. The real issue with it other than just needing a real good cleaning is that an animal chewed a big hole in the front seat right where the driver would sit. So it needs a seat cover or some other front seat upholstery work. I was thinking at $2,000 it should just go pretty easily. Based on registration info that we found it was driven into the building and parked around 1985.

Here is the link to the 1970 Ford F-250 Sport Custom photos. It has a 360 V8. I do not know if it turns over, haven’t had time yet. It appears Grampa must have been fixing the power steering when he parked it. Thieves stole the steering column out of the bed when they broke into the building, unfortunately. I think the new power steering pump is in a box of parts somewhere. I like the Cushman logo on the door. The bed is rusty, it really needs a new bed floor. I think $2,000 is a fair price for it. There is another one of these (a Camper Special actually) with the same body and engine but a manual trans (4 on the floor). Maybe someone wants both to make 1 good one? Unfortunately the other one is still in storage so I don’t have many pics.

I want to thank Tim and his son Pat for giving us the opportunity to list all of these great barn finds! So let’s spread the word and find good homes for these finds. The sooner he can get these ones moved out of his garage, the sooner he can fetch more of the cars from the barn to list them. And if you’d like to give one or more of them a new home, be sure to email him!

That is so cool, A real barn find and its not that far away! I just moved away to Spokane wa.(about 375 miles away). My old place was in mt Vernon, (only about 30 miles away!!).but I have to go back in a few weeks. This barnfind might just make me go sooner.
Not often a chance comes up to see a real find like this.
If I can make it in time I will take pics, and post it.
I have never posted anything on B/F before, but a lot of you might really like to see more so that gives me a good reason to share.

Very cool finds , The owner has come to the right place for this collection :)

I was looking forward to seeing this one as my dad had one back when I was a kid. Traded it for a Chevy that he then traded for a big 56 Ford flatbed that I learned to drive stick on.

This could be that truck as it was in Bellingham. I was hoping the price was a little closer to my budget though.

    “it runs’n drives”
w/o a tire & frame in the mud?

Looks like it was dragged out side to me that’s why the front tire is off the rim. I would bet he neede it out of the why to get at other cars.

      • Tim

Exactly right. It was parked so close to the other cars that we couldn’t squeeze in to air up the tire. So we dragged it out, fixed the tire and proceeded on. Look at the other pictures for the condition of the car once we got it loaded up, trailered home and rinsed off.

For the 2 guys who asked … I added pictures of the bed and the windows of the old red F1 truck to the picture folder.
