Can You Spot The MGB?

Hidden MGB

Now, I’m not recommending that anyone purchase this car, but the photo was so hilarious that I thought it deserved a mention. The seller is realistic when they state that this MGB is a total restoration project. Their asking price of $2,900 may not be quite so realistic. One interesting aspect though is that someone already installed a Mazda rotary engine in it! Take a look at the craigslist ad here. Thanks goes to Olaf E. for the submission!

This POOR OL LUMP deserves to have it’s misery ended! Being a 78, everything that blessed MG’s has been distroyed, It stands on it’s tippy toes, has one carb that has burned hundreds if not thousands of cars to the ground, the engine had all the performance designed out of it etc! there’re some usefull parts and the hull could be remade into a road racer. The only good thing about that era MG’s is that they FINALLY had a glove compartment

Good heavens, the parts car looks better than the one offered. A rotary in a MGB. I don’t know where to begin with that deal. The 1798 BL unit was a great, proven design. I put almost 1/4 of a million miles on a MGB. This is just plumb wrong, and I can just imagine the strife going on in this MG’s soul. (think WW2) That rust behind the door, is a bad spot, and most MGB’s start there, ( mine did) and take out the front of the rear spring mount. I agree with Michael, take it out back, and put it out it’s misery.
