EXCLUSIVE: 1973 Cadillac Coupe Deville Needs To Go!

We’ve been helping Reader Yvonne B with selling her late son’s collection of cars. She really needs to get the last of the cars sold and has decided to remove her asking prices and allow interested parties to contact her with their best offers. For various reasons, she’s unable to get additional photos of the last few cars and has asked us to use the photos from when she had the cars appraised. The photos of her Coupe DeVille aren’t the best, but they show a classic that’s in decent condition. It’s currently sitting in a storage unit and needs to go, so be sure to contact her via the form below with your best offer.

What Makes It Special? This Cadillac is powered by a 472 ci V8 with the 4 barrel carb and features power brakes, seats, steering, windows, climate control, tilt wheel, and rear window defroster.

Body Condition: It has been garage kept and is straight.

Mechanical Condition: The engine and drivetrain are believed to be original to the car. It needs work but is serviceable.

It’s obviously not a lot of info to go off of, but it does look like a good find. If you are into land yachting, this one has some potential. She needs it gone, so make her an offer so that she can get it out of storage and you can get to cruising!

Green on green with more green!!! Nice looking car nevertheless!! Looks to be someone’s pride and joy that kept this one in such good shape especially being in the snow belt!! I know a couple of Cadillac guys!! I’ve never had one but they all speak highly of the 427 motor!!! If this could be bought with the right amount of green it would be a good ride!!!

My heart goes out to Yvonne concerning her son. I have always loved these GM HUGE land yachts! I just wish I could afford the gas for one of these. Always wanted one. I knew a few guys that had these same engines and swore by them. Virtually indestructive. These 472’s and the 500 CID’s. Step on the accelerator and you are gone!! Rode like a cloud. Sure wish I could help her.

My parents had a white ’73 that was my prom car. Nicest riding car I’ve ever driven. We drove it from Illinois to California and back one summer, and I believe every electrical gadget that could, went out on it… From the power seats to the power windows, to the antenna… But, YES I would love to own one today. :)
