I saw this car at the Concorso! wonderful car!
I’ve only found a few in my lifetime but they were just diamonds in the ruff.
I’ve never seen one before. I would be nice to have a little bit of info on it. it does not even say what make it is. what’s up with that??? Happy Thanksgiving.
So what kind of car is it???
Would place high odds on Mini or JAG xr components underneath.
I’m gonna guess it is a Volvo……early to mid 60’s!!!
I would guess Volvo too-1962
Volvo? British components? Are you fellas even trying?Photo has a tag of Italiano Concorso 2011.How about 1955 Vignale-bodied Fiat 8V?Find it here-http://www.caranddriver.com/news/2011-concorso-italiano-photos-and-more-pebble-beachAnd the link to the photos from that photo doesn’t work, but this one does-http://www.caranddriver.com/photo-gallery/2011-concorso-italiano-photos-and-moreYou’ll have to scroll through some photos to find the Fiat. I’m sure there are other photos of that magnificant car as well.Happy Searching!
Knew it wasn’t Volvo, but didn’t even occur to me to check for tags. *sound of hand slapping forehead* Thanks for the info, G.
That’s a FIAT 8V Supersonic if I ever saw one.Anyone have 2 million?
Looks like you guys got it. It’s a 1955 Fiat 8V which we snapped a photo of at the Concorso Italiano this summer. The owners were a really nice couple. We may do a feature on this car in the near future.
the sound that little 8 makes is beautiful, its so nice to see one in such original shape .I dream of going to Italy and finding one tucked away some where, hey is there a fienile trova d’Italia ? Gary
