Idaho British Car Collection for Sale!

We’ve been seeing a lot of collections up for sale recently, and it’s fun to see the types of cars people like to collect. This one appears to be a British car fan – there are 7 available vehicles from the 1960s and 1970s, most of which appear to be in very good condition. If you’re looking to add 1 (or 7!) cars from across the pond to your stable, check out the online listing. They’re located in Mountain Home, ID, and the seller is willing to negotiate prices.

We’re told these cars were collected over a period of 19 years in New Mexico, and now reside in dry storage in Idaho. That means they likely have very little rust or corrosion. From the photos, most look like they could fire right up and drive home. Unfortunately, we don’t actually have any information from the owner on how good any of them run, drive, or stop.

The specific cars up for sale are a 1969 Austin Healey Sprite, 1961 Bugeye Sprite, 1974 chrome bumper MGB, 1967 MGB GT special with OD, a titled 1974 Morris Mini Sportpack with MG Metro 1275, and a 1961 Morris Mini Deluxe that is a project car. There are also various core engines and transmissions for sale. Most look to have nice shiny paint, all the correct trim, and fully aired up tires. There are also a few convertible tops, which don’t look to have any flaws.

I like how they’re all backed in and lined up. It really appears that the current owner has cared for them, even if they haven’t been driven regularly. I suppose one of the benefits of these cars versus American cars from the sale time period is that they are small! A collection like this won’t take up near as much room as it would if these were all Fords and Chevys.

We aren’t told why they’re up for sale, but oftentimes the owners will realize they just don’t have enough time to maintain and enjoy them. That seems like it might be the case here – they say they really are just looking for “good loving homes for these cars where they will be cherished.” I’m sure there will be a line of people willing to give these cars a good home!

“willing to negotiate price”? I don’t see any prices
to start negotiating. It’s nice to get an asking price so
you have an idea of what to offer.

The MG GT would be my choice. With the special edition package it’s somewhat collectible, only here in 67 model year. Not sure how many were brought in, I want to say 500 but I’m not sure. All the ones I’ve seen were black. Wood steering wheel, wood shift knob, numbered dash plaque, and the overdrive. The overdrive makes these cars long distance cruisers.

Yep, the MG B GT would be my choice as well followed closely by the Frog eyed Sprite.

I have one of those. It was actually just a kit of parts
put on random cars at the dealers.I don’t think it makes them
    any more valuable.

I would go for the Mini project and convert it to a Super Cooper with a new Honda drive line. If I had the skills, time, patience, garage space, and understanding wife. I got one out of five there.

I bet the one out of five wasn’t the wife!

I would take the Mini, the GT and the Fiat X1/9 in the corner.

Nice Brit collection. The beauty of Brit cars you can stick more in your garage and easy to work on.

Do they really mean, Make me an offer? If it is Price negotiable then I start at $10K. Maybe they don’t know the collections worth? Cars are one thing, motors and gearboxes with parts is difficult.
