This white on tan 1975 Hurst/Olds appears to be one clean machine and it features some interesting features that make it quite the machine. It is located in Grand Rapid, Michigan. The tan interior looks nice based on the photos provided. The car was originally sold by Behler Oldsmobile in Cincinnati, Ohio. As with most Hurst/Olds, the car is equipped with a Hurst Dual Gate shifter in the console to operate the automatic transmission. This particular car is fitted with a trick console-mounted Hurst/Olds electronic tach!
As Oldsmobile enthusiasts know, the Hurst/Olds and I believe on some other Cutlass models were equipped with swivel bucket seats. Many people do not realize that the 1975 Hurst/Olds was the first GM car to be equipped with removable T-Tops.
It should be noted that this car originally rolled off the assembly line optioned with the W25 package which means it was built with the reliable 350 cubic inch V8 engine. At some point, the original engine was upgraded to this monstrous 455 cubic inch V8 engine and the decals were switched out to reflect the W30 package. It may not be original but we like it!
The underside of the car is said to look very nice but this is the only photo provided. The original exhaust had been replaced with true dual exhausts and Dynomax mufflers which are some of my favorite sounding exhaust equipment. The car is equipped with 15 x 7 Super Stock III Oldsmobile rally rims.
The Code 11 Cameo White looks nicely applied and the Hurst/Olds is fitted with the vented 442 hood. Out out of all the different scoops and hoods, the center vents on the Oldsmobile 442 are one of my favorites. I like the 1975 Cutlass front end and think it just looks classy. Only 1,293 Hurst/Olds were built in 1975 in Cameo White. The other 1,242 Hurst/Olds were painted black and gold. This car looks like a sweet machine from the end of the original muscle car era. Would you drive it?

Oil pan looks like it’s smashed?? Also appears to have an oil leak. I wonder if the trans is the same for the 350 & 455 that year. I also wish they’d have included pics of inside the trunk, rear frame & rear bumper mounts. Cool car though!

For the Collonade era GMs from 1973 to 1977, swivel buckets were available in the Chevy Malibu, Monte Carlo, and the Olds Cutlass. Buick Century, Pontiac LeMans and Grand Prix did not have them available. An odd situation.
One of my all time favorites! My first car was a Silver 75 Cutlass Salon. Bought it in 80. Loved that car. Back then, I looked for a 442 hood for it not realizing how rare those were but now I understand the looks I would get when I would go to the local junkyards asking for one! They were thinking, “Stupid 16 year old!”. Had it until I was 20 until a 16 year old t-boned it. I drove that car for 2 weeks after it was hit. I could literally touch the passenger door without stretching from the drivers side! Replaced it with a 76 Cutlass Salon. It was black with t-tops. Painted the Olds rally wheels gold like this one. Awesome cars!
