One-Owner Original: 1971 Ford Bronco

This 1971 Ford Bronco is listed for sale at a Buy It Now Price of $16,900 here on eBay. The truck is light blue with a white top and is located in Henderson, Maryland. The seller has also included an option for a potential buyer to make an offer. The Bronco is said to be a one-owner vehicle but it has some rust issues and will need restoration. The auction ends on Wednesday afternoon for this 4WD V8 powered Bronco.

The engine compartment on this Bronco looks stock and is dirty but not the worst I have seen. The seller states that the truck has been sitting for over six years and will turn over and start using starting fluid but will not run consistently due to bad fuel in the tank that will need to be changed, cleaned or replaced. The 302 cubic inch V8 engine in the Ford Bronco was equipped with a 2 barrel carburetor. The first generation of the Bronco was produced from 1966 to 1977.

The white or parchment interior is worn and torn but looks original. The engine is shifted using a three speed manual transmission which is operated via a column shifter. The 4WD gear selector is mounted to the floor between to two low back bucket seats. The seller discloses that there is rust in the rocker panels, floor boards, door jams and and along the chrome trim molding. The glass is said to be good and intact and the Bronco even has its original radio.

The front hub caps look different than the rear wheel coverings. Was that to cover the hubs? The Bronco is said to be original including the numbers matching engine and transmission. It is not road worthy and will need to be trailered when picked up by the new buyer. I hope someone is able to restore this Bronco and get it running on its own power.

Well, we’ve certainly seen much worse Broncos. Maybe this one will make for a reasonable restoration for someone.

Bruce you are right, the wheel covers are the same front to rear, but the fronts have the center section removed to access the hubs.

I spy….. some custom “Bronco” emblems on the front fender, which are amazingly the same color as the fender itself !!

Sure appears to have a really nice Sport parchment floor mat in it. That alone is worth big $$ these days.

This would work perfect for plowing the long driveway on the farmhouse I just bought but 17K for just doing that, I guess I’ll pass !!!

yeah, fora bronk plow truck it’s fancy (chrome strips around’n about, oe floor mat, etc) surprised no 2nd gas tank. I’d add 1 & get rid of the mat (bed liner).

    “…the same color as…”
yes they’ve wrked on this 1 (C gas cap, DSII ignit).

I may play ball next fall, but I will never sign that. Now me and my loser friends are gonna head out to buy Aerosmith tickets. Top priority of the summer.

Front frame is bent from plowing. Look at the front fender alignment. Put it on a frame rack maybe?

The front hub caps look different because they are. The front hubs come through them so they don’t have the center medallions. If they did, you wouldn’t be able to lock in the hubs without removing them.
