Asking Price: $10,900
Location: Eugene, Oregon
Mileage: 38,178
Title Status: Clean
VIN: 14023410

Seller’s Description: This is an unrestored car, with the optional Sport Tone trim and Hollywood steering wheel. Fully equipped factory radio with rear seat speaker, heater, fender skirts, windshield washer, backup lights, two-tone exterior paint. The original interior in turquoise colors is flawless.

Body Condition: Good original paint, with a few shining spots on the front fender. No rust including rockers, trunk, etc. No dents. The car has been garaged most of its life, so the body is in very straight condition.
Tires are whitewall bias ply and will need replacing within a year depending on mileage. Spare needs replacing now to be safe.

Mechanical Condition: The flathead 6 cylinder 230.c.i. is the original engine. I have service records only since my ownership in 2010. I have replaced the fuel pump, points & plugs, master brake cylinder, and the voltage regulator.
Transmission serviced within the last 10,000 miles. The carburetor has been rebuilt. The radiator was flushed, refilled with coolant and thermostat replaced in 2018. The battery was replaced 2 years ago.

With just 38k miles on the clock, this Belvedere has a lot of life left in it, so hopefully, a reader snags it and can enjoy it for years to come! It really is a beautiful car and the Sport-Tone trim really makes it stand out. So, be sure to take a closer look at it via the link below.

I disagree on daily driver. I would only take this to a cruise-in. Great looking car. But, out of my price range. Would really like to have this….but….

Being a 6cyl, this wouldn’t make a good daily driver. No power or top-end speed at all.

Beautiful car! Apparently, this is a car that needs nothing for the new owner to enjoy as soon as they get it home. It presents well inside and out and the color combination is stunning. Perhaps a little detailing under the hood if you were so inclined; that’s about it.

The price seems more than fair for a car in this condition. For someone who has always wanted an inexpensive classic car, here it is!

Round two for this car. I believe it was listed a few months ago. Hemmings says its price is ok. But, if so, why hasn’t it sold?

Good question! Maybe it’s the location and perhaps time of year? Probably not a lot of demand for this year sedan compared to the finned ‘57+ models but I’m sure the right buyer is out there waiting for spring and a good deal on shipping. There’s no disputing that it’s a very nice classic for a reasonable price. Some 4 doors are worth that much, including this one.

I better want a 4 door in this condition, than a 2 door in a sad condition. I dont get my Mother in law in the back of my coupe, so not to many 4 doors in my collektion

Maybe because the market for a car like this has past. The people who bought these new like my Dad, are all gone or soon will be. The people who lusted after them in high school are beyond driving age or soon will be. I agree, this is a stunning car, but the days of many buyers bidding for its charms are long over. Younger buyers are not going to want the low powered four door, they want some style and power, and/or potential for an increase in investment. Another thought. If it were a three speed tied to the L Head, might help. The two speed auto and the flat head are not that appealing to me. What I really want to know, are the miles for real? And if so, why so few in over 60 years. Well into the 60s this would have been a sought after car for daily driving, what happened? The seller should give us a neat story, might help his cause and give me something cool to read.

Can’t comment on this car since i only see one picture, not enough to go on. But i can say this, if it was a 2 door hardtop he might get what he’s asking. No 4 door is eorth that much money.

I’m the owner and have just read the comments. The price is negotiable to an extent…especially if a potential buyer is far away and needs to pay for shipping. Richard R.

Richard, you have a really nice car. Lots of people love a 4 door because it is hard to get older friends into the back seat of a 2 door. Everyone wants to negotiate the price, but don’t give it away. Your asking price is close…
