From David F. – We seldom get to see the other side of the story, after a car is rescued and returned to it’s former glory. Here’s a fun story for you. I met this fellow in Tirano, Italy. (Tirano is in the Alps) The owner is a well known cheese maker. As he tells the story, he’s never had much interest in cars. He was visiting a friend in England who showed him this car he had found that had been sitting in a garage for years. The friend suggested this would be a wonderful way to enjoy the roads in the Alps. Our cheese maker purchased the Morgan very cheap and had it hauled to a mechanic. The mechanic cleaned it up, checked the wooden chassis, which was fine, and did a service. Now, the cheesemaker and his wife do indeed enjoy themselves in this Morgan. The only disadvantage he can find is that when they drive into town for dinner, his wife insists he drink less wine. And his wife, she’s purchased a restored, vintage Vespa motor scooter…

Looks like a pretty modern Moggie….a Plus 8?
Hmm….twin exhausts. I think it is.
This would be terrific to do the Alps in, say the Stelvio Pass. I’m envious.
Morgans don’t have a wooden chassis.
The BODY is wood framed.
Drink just as much wine. Add more cheese.
Blessed are the cheesmakers
A “feel good” story – more wine, more feel good!
Well bless my ash!
Can’t imagine how my ash would feel driving on those cobblestones with that Morgan non-suspension! Out for gelato and back would be enough.
