Reserve Free 1959 Austin-Healey 100-6

Big Healeys are in high demand these days, even rust buckets go for big money! This 100-6 is definitely one of those rusty examples, but the seller is offering it without a reserve. It might actually go for a realistic amount of money, well if bidding doesn’t go crazy that is. It was found behind a barn and needs everything, including a title. If you aren’t scared of rust repair or trying to get a title, you can find this Healey here on eBay in Orchard Park, New York with a current bid of $2,850.

Other than the Atlantic ocean, Buffalo could be the world’s worst place for a car during Winter, and this poor Healey shows the effects just about everywhere.

The upside is that this is a 6-port head car, and the seller shows some underside photos.

The downside is that there probably aren’t too many people who are not experienced Healey restorers who could tackle this car and make it into a solid, good looking, good running car. Not a job for an amateur, unless most of the work is farmed out.

the positive is hardtops are in demand and depending if the fiberglass is in good shape, that top is $1500 all day. So as a parts car, it might b worth the chance.
