The Ford F100 was the predecessor of the F150, the best-selling pickup truck of all time. The third generation of the vehicle was produced from 1957 until 1960 with wider bodywork to integrate the cab and front fenders, a move also made by Dodge and GM. This 1959 edition is a 2-door panel delivery that is said to be wearing its original paint. But we’re not sure if the graphics are from earlier days or added more recently for effect. Either way, it’s a cool van found in Orlando, Florida, and available here on eBay where it can be had for $19,500 (Buy It Now) or you can make an offer.

We’re told the seller is the fifth owner of this van which spent most of its life in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The seller believes there are only a handful of these vans left in the world of this particular model and with their original paint. I’m not sure how you would be able to find that out, but it’s got to be in rare company regardless. The graphics have more of a 1970s feel to them and if this transport was in service to Midwest Auto Specialties in Cleveland, Ohio, that’s 180 miles away from Parkersburg.

Fortunately, this van has avoided the rust bug other than a little here and there of the surface variety. That suggests it has been well-cared for, having spent 25 years alone with just one of its owners. The Meadow Green paint (patina and all) looks good with its surrounding rubber bits in amazing condition for being more than 60 years old. It looks to have had some custom work done in the interior given the tufted panels on the doors, not something that Henry Ford would have pulled off.

This F100 has a number-matching drivetrain which consists of an inline-6 motor and 3-speed manual transmission. The mileage is said to be 31,400, which provided documentation tends to support, and these vehicles were rear-wheel-drive not FWD as the seller mentions in two instances. We’re told the van starts, runs, and shifts as it should, and a new fuel pump is present along with a conversion to electronic ignition. All of this adds up to one cool van that you could drive exactly as is and be the only kid on your block to have one.
