Two Of A Kind: Pair Of 1957 Chevrolets

Up for sale is a pair of 1957 Chevy’s, one a Bel Air and one a 210, and they are both in pieces. Currently, they are located in Jacksonville, Florida and the asking price is $9,500 for both. The seller will part with them separately as well, with the Bel Air going for $6,500 and the 210 at $3,500. Clean Florida titles come with the cars. Thank you, Rocco B., for the tip. You can view more here on Craigslist.

Neither car has an engine in it. The seller does claim to have two 283 engines but does not clarify if they come with the car/s. If it matters, the seller says that one of them runs and the other has just been finished with a rebuild. No word on any transmissions are listed. Another noteworthy aspect is that the 210 has its original frame, but it will need to be sand blasted. The seller says they have another frame already blasted, but again, no specifics on what is or is not included in the sale.

The Bel Air is said to have a good floor and trunk pan while the 210 will need new floor pans and trunk work. For the Bel Air, the seller has front seat springs and other original parts. A positive about the 210 is the rear quarters and front fenders, both of which are claimed to be in great condition. The pair of cars are both two doors as well. There are not a whole lot of pictures of extra parts even though the seller claims to have plenty to make one of the cars a gasser.

There is a picture of a hood that looks to be primed. The seller says that they bought the Bel Air and then bought the 210 for parts, but couldn’t chop it up. Now they have both and are looking to sell. This particular pair of cars hit close to me. My grandfather has two 57’s as well. In this situation, it is almost as if the cars are siblings. You don’t want to split them up. Hopefully, someone will purchase both and give them a good home.

$9500 for both doesn’t seem like a bad deal for the amount of stuff you get!! Two cars two small block motors!! It’s going to be a project but if there’s any car that parts are available for it’s the tri-5 chevys!!!

Certainly looks like there would be more than enough here to make one nice car.

Red one is 55,two project ones have 57 front ends anyway. So title probably is correct.
