“A good driver” is not a term we’d associate with a vintage Maserati Biturbo, but the seller claims this Zagato-designed convertible could be a runner without much work. The example seen here is at least a desirable manual transmission car, and it turns over with good compression. It’s way up there in Alaska, so serious buyers only apply. Find it here on craigslist with a $3,500 asking price.
Despite being somewhere Anchorage, the body appears straight up and down the sides. The front air dam is an iconic Biturbo look and it appears undamaged. The OEM Maserati wheels are still accounted for, but the seller says it will need new tires in addition to a replacement top, the latter of which isn’t likely cheap to replace.
One of the best aspects of the car is the interior, which is a surprise given the ornate Maserati cabin tends to break down rapidly if neglected. The leather buckets appear quite fair, as does the wrapped console and original Maserati shift boot. The wood trim looks good on the doors, but it’s harder to tell how the dash pieces are holding up.
Under hood looks nice and stock, with the turbocharged powerplant waiting for its next owner to get it to fire up and stay running. The seller notes mileage is under 50K and the Biturbo will come with an assortment of manuals and workshop books. While these aren’t appreciating much, I still think their time will come as the iconic 80s cars continue to become more collectible. Thanks to Barn Finds reader Jermey for the find.
