Corvette Heaven

Corvette Salvage Auction

Disclosure: This site may receive compensation from some link clicks and purchases.

We just found the place where all good Corvettes go. This Corvette heaven is made up of over 100 C3 and C4 Corvettes, most of which are pretty rough, and they are all headed to the auction block. There is also a large assortment of original Corvette parts to be auctioned off and some are even reconditioned parts. The auction is set to be held on November 5th in Forest City, North Carolina by Whittington Auctions.

Salvage Corvette Stingray

The majority of the Corvettes in this collection have already been stripped down, but there are a few cars with their drivetrains still intact. We don’t know much about the seller, who just happens to be Charlie Brown, or why he amassed all these salvaged Corvettes, but we are glad to see that someone kept all these parts cars inside.

If any of you live near the Forest City area or are in need of some parts for your Corvette, stop by this auction and check it out. We are sure there will be a lot of people show up, so get there early. If you’re looking for any bigger parts or a complete car there will be a fork lift on hand to help load up bigger pieces.

I see a different picture… I see a guy who probably hacked out a deal with an insurance company and has been buying Corvettes totalled from wrecks, and simply running a parts business. At this point he has probably reached a point of diminishing returns, all the good parts are gone, and the building rent is starting to eat up monthly sales. Solution: time to liquidate. ??? IMHO

If these were all pre’68 ‘vettes, we’d have a whole different attitude on this “find”.
