Fully Molested 1968 Camaro RS/SS

1968 Camaro RS SS

Disclosure: This site may receive compensation from some link clicks and purchases.

This 1968 Camaro may have sat untouched in a barn since 1975, but it was obviously “touched” a lot before or after that! Car guys sometimes use the term “unmolested” to describe a car that has never been messed with. I guess that means this Camaro could be considered fully molested? The side pipes and multicolored paint scheme may not be very flattering, but the fact that this is a big block/4-speed car make it desirable to at least a few people. Current bidding here on eBay proves that point. The cowl tag does tell us that this was originally a V8 car, but without more information there is no way to determine how it came from the factory. Heck, the seller doesn’t even mention which big block it has. You should proceed with caution here. Unless, of course, you are okay with possible having your wallet molested…

It’s a highly desirable car, and as such will fetch big $$ for the condition…
Must have been a heluva barn, click on other items for sale, this guy has quite a few interesting cars currently on eBay

Can you imagine the sound inside this car from the side pipes? You’d have to wear ear muffs all the time. LOL

Has to be the hardest and toughest 28,000 miles. But like PaulG says it is a desirable model.

Exactly what I was thinking……….beat to hell for 28,000 miles!………I don’t buy that story. Who knows if it’s a REAL big block, RS/SS without a build sheet?? “Untouched”??……..that’s a RAPE VICTIM!!!!

Seller claims to have the Protect-O-Plate, which will have all the details. Car looks straight, big block, 4 speed, no vinyl top, won’t be cheap to restore but should have enough value to be worth it.

It has the big block heater core, the hoses exited closer to the fender instead of behind the valve cover, that was to give clearance for the big block valve covers, shoot even the orig shifter it looks like….but she’s had a hard few years of life before parked…..I have an IROC I bought new in 1990 with only 50,000 miles….could never have imagined beating it to death like this in only 7 or 8 years. But that was the time us old guys lived in, we ran the crap out of them, built them, dragged them, never knowing they would be worth a fortune one day….I was almost 40 before I bought my IROC….so didn’t kill it, but of course then I had an original paint ’69 Z-28, and LS6 ’70 Chevelle and a couple of other old cars..
