Seller’s Description: This vehicle has been in my family for nearly 30 years. It was restored in the early ’70s and won National Best of Show in 1974. The motor was rebuilt with press in bearings less than 50 miles ago at a cost of $12,000. The car runs strong and shifts easily. Not shown in the pictures is a period Presto-Lite acetylene tank and brackets. There is not a spec of rust anywhere on this car except for surface rust on the exhaust.

Known Issues: The wheels need refinishing. The top is complete, but the wooden bow is broken. There are some paint blemishes, and one spot where the finish was dinged. The tank shows evidence of fuel spills.

Other Notes: The headlamps are Solar, not Corcoran. The mag is a Bosch DU-3, with an impulse for easy starting from the ’20s, the car would have originally come with a splitdorf. The coil box is updated. Everything else on the car is as it should be.

The car spent most of the last 30 years in Central Texas, it was parked for 15 years. I had the mag rebuilt, replaced the plug wires with new ones, cleaned out all the grease caps and old lubricants and it fired right up. If you search youtube for 1911 Buick you’ll find a video of the car running. I have a 4-year-old 16×9 enclosed car hauler that I will sell if the buyer is interested. I’m selling this car as I am more interested in my old boats than my old cars. This is a rare car, I have only seen one for sale in the past 5 years. You are welcome to come to inspect the car.
