Seller’s Description: 1940? Brockway dump truck. Unsure of the exact year but I think a little hunting with the VIN can get it. Tags on truck state Serial no. 22497 Model 220X78. This is a very complete truck. The frame looks super solid and straight. What’s left of the red paint is original and the doors are marked “TOWN OF CANANDAIGUA NY” cab sheet metal is surface rusted but not through. Most of the wood frame is good or good for patterns except for the door bottoms. Doors do not close well. All the glass is present but not in good condition. The front fenders are banged up and have had cracks welded, the left rocker to running board filler is missing. The engine is a 6cyl gas with dual ignition. I soaked the cylinders with PB Blaster for 9 months before trying to roll it. It will roll from the starter button with a battery but I can’t get any spark. Wheels roll free and the clutch is not stuck, the Tires hold air. The front are 10.00 20 and the rear are 11.00 22. The Heil bed dates from 1942 and is very straight and solid with the exception of the floor which is wavy from use. Bed tag as follows, HEIL CO A13926 PIECE NO. 79469 MODEL SSC11 CAP’Y 108 and 1-42. There are parts missing from the pump but that’s all I know about it. I do have some spare parts that come with it (see picture). As you can see it makes a great decoration and the Grinch and Max can go with it if the new owner wants. No title, a bill of sale can be provided. Transportation is at the expense of the new owner. I can store it here for a reasonable time at no cost. No trades cash only upon pickup. I can provide the buyer with the number of the person that hauled it to me. Must be picked in Pleasantville PA 16341.
