Seller’s Description: 1940 Ford Deluxe Sedan. The car was bought in 2019 by myself after having been parked since 1954. The 1949 Ford flathead v8 in the car was installed by the original owner in 1950, the car was driven until 1954 and then parked, it was purchased by the second owner in 1981 and continued to sit until I got it. I have replaced the rear frame near the wheels, new floors (with Dynamat and carpet) front to back. The fuel system is brand new and the car does have a new fuel cell with braided lines running to a new OEM carb. The motor has been torn down (not rebuilt), cleaned, inspected, sandblasted, and put back together, the car has great compression. Upgraded 12volt system with MSD wires and electronic ignition. The car is tagged, insured, and driven. It is a traditional hot rod, this is not the car for you if you’re looking for a high-dollar street rod. The body is original and is decent, the bottoms of the front doors need attention (I’ve started some of it). The car draws attention everywhere and runs and rides great. If serious, I’m looking for $12,500. Clean NJ title in hand. I have detailed photos and videos of the build for a serious buyer.
