Seller’s Description: This 1940 Mercury Club Coupe is a Street Rod build in process – to be completed as you desire. Our Dad purchased the Merc and he began building his dream Street Rod. Sadly, he passed before he could complete his dream car. We are providing the Merc description to the best of our abilities. Dad was a lifelong car guy. He built a few Streets Rods (winning many trophies along the way) and they are still on the road.

Good condition in grey primer, rear fenders need work.
Chassis
Installed Mustang II front suspension. Installed rear suspension – 1964 Ford 9” rear axle. No steering column.
Engine & Drive Train
Installed radiator. No other drive train or mounts are present.
Electrical
Original instrument panel exists, but it is not installed. No other electrical wiring is installed or exists.
Interior
Front & back seat frames are present, but they require upholstery. Front floorboards not complete. Back floorboards present. No headliner, soundproofing, door panels, etc. are present.
