Seller’s Description: Alfredo Vignale did 2 Orchidea, based on the Fiat 1400. They were similar, but not the same, one was sold years ago, totally to restore, the other it’s a very barn find and it’s in mint condition, never restored, with its original mileage.
This car was bought from the daughter of the first owner and found in its original condition. It’s a time capsule, ready for any inspection. This Orchidea it’s a museum car. It won, in 1950, the Gran Premio at the Concorso d’Eleganza in Venice, Italy. It has been published in “Il Registro”, the main magazine, for Fiat Auto.
The car passed all its life stored in a dry garage, in Sicily. It is a perfect driving car. Perfect engine, perfect transmission, brakes, and clutch. It is unique with unique parts, Nothing is broken. Amber dash knobs and original amber key, sunvisor, roof, seats with original upholstery. Very rich of particular parts, aluminum body. Original hardware, jack, and spare tire. Original owner’s manual.
Paint was refreshed 20 years ago. The tires, brake, brake hoses, water hoses, are new. New oil and filter in the engine, new liquids.
Steering and bushing like new.
Backglass is plexiglass and it is not yellow.
