Seller’s Description: This is one of a kind. Only 2 or 3 Fiat Vignale Orchidea were made, but all with little difference one from the other, and this has survived. Only 30000 miles, from new. Winner of the “Concorso d’eleganza Venezia 1950”.
It’s a time capsule, only a fresh panting 20 years ago, but never restored. No rust. everything is unique and working. Perfect engine, perfect electric, perfect steering and brakes, perfect interiors, original chrome bumpers, with no spots. It’s really a museum car but also a daily driver. Original papers. I have pictures from the past. The car is well known, by the Museo Dell’Auto Torino, Italy and has been documented in “The Registro”, the main magazine for Fiat Auto in the world.
Aluminum body, handmade by Vignale/Michelotti, clear plastic plexiglass as the rear glass. Asking price is reduced to 170,000 USD and is negotiable, any inspection is welcome. In 2019 it raced the Coppa d’Oro delle Dolomiti, with no problem. MM eligible.
