Title Status: Clean
Seller’s Description: Project Car. 1955 Chevy Bel Air Wagon 4 Door. Clean title in my name. Roller only. No engine, transmission, or brakes. No steering wheel either. I have all the outer trim and I believe all the trim for the inside. No door panels or anything cloth inside except the seats. No Bel Air door script, Chevrolet script or Bel Air Shields. No keys, door locks or wiring or ignition. I do have the bezel for the ignition though. Has the original speedometer and Bel Air clock. Car was completely apart when I got it and I had to put it back together before a family member moved. So some things were missing or broken. The firewall has been hammered to fit a Big Block. Has a 1961 Corvette rear end based on the casting numbers on the pumpkin. Have extra windshield, new chrome bumper guards, rubber body mounts, new temp. gauge, vent window weatherstripping, and new side window weatherstripping. Needs a lot of work and a complete or patched floor pan. It’s spray-painted blue because I didn’t expect I would ever have to sell it and just wanted to fix it up my own way for now until I could fully restore it completely. My Grandfather Doug used to drag race it back in the day at Beech Bend in Bowling Green. Will need to be loaded up on a trailer the day it’s bought. Looking to sell as soon as possible due to bills. First-person to actually show up with cash and a trailer gets it, no holds. I hate to get rid of it but I have no other choice. Plus my Grandfather wouldn’t want it to just keep sitting and it needs to be built and enjoyed. And I don’t want to be one of those “I’ll fix it up one day” people cause you never know what can happen. Thanks for looking.
