Seller’s Description: You Ford guys out there know that this was the only year that Ford brought out the Parklane Wagon supposedly to complete with the Nomad. This is definitely a project car but very sound. It came from Texas. The only rust are some smaller pinholes under the doors. The back spare wheel well is solid….just surface rust. The engine does run. Starts right up with a little gas down the carb. Gas lines will need to be checked out as when I bought it, the gas tank was never hooked up so just running on a can in the engine bay. Tranny was working when I took these pictures last fall when it was taken out of storage but doesn’t want to go into gear right now… I’m thinking it’s a matter of a leaky tranny pan.
I do have some additional parts that come with it: extra fenders and a ’56 hood (it’s a ’55 hood on there now) plus some extra Parklane trim pieces for the door pillars as well as a nice set of Parkland emblems for the back quarter panels.
Really a nice restoration project……or hot rod project
