Seller’s Description: A recent divorce forces me to sell my project. The motor smokes a little when it’s cold but compression is good. Three-speed on the column has been moved to the floor, but I have all the linkage. The exhaust manifold was cracked so I put a stainless header in it. New carpet, brakes, tune-up, and Pertonix. There is rust in the rear quarter panels, but that is the only rust. Floorboards are solid all the way back. The rear seat is in great condition. The front seat was our first attempt at upholstery and works but it could be better. I saved all the pieces of the original seat to use as a pattern. I have a second steering column and some other small parts that will go with the car. This car is fun to drive around town and will even do 60-65 on the highway. Wipers are vacuum and work slow, but everything else including the tube style AM radio works well. These first-year Comets were supposed to be part of the Edsel line and so I put 14-inch wheels and Edsel hub caps on. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions or ask for more pictures.
