Seller’s Description: This sunbeam was restored by a long-term enthusiast owner about 15 years ago and then driven to many shows where it won awards. The owner was a pilot and frequently flew overseas where he collected most of the parts when he redid it. Unfortunately, the engine blew a head gasket and cracked the head about 5 years ago and the car has subsequently set in his garage. I bought the car with intentions of fixing it as it is so nice otherwise. I found a running upgraded later Alpine engine being pulled from a driver that was being converted to a Tiger replica with a V8 swap. That good used running motor comes with the car along with a factory hardtop.
Fix it or make your own Tiger replica by dropping in a V8. Either way, an easy project I just unfortunately don’t have time for.
