This 1962 Impala SS is all stock and looking great. The exterior paint appears to be the correct Honduras Maroon Poly, matched to code. There are minor chips, scratches, and oxidation, but the vehicle is in overall excellent shape. The body panels, including floorboard and trunk, are in great shape with only some small visible body rot in the trunk. You’ll hardly have to do a thing to bring this beauty back to its original glory.

The stock 409cu big block is in great shape. While it’s not perfect, it will only take a little TLC to bring it back to amazing. It runs like a dream and just needs some minor maintenance. It’s got a four-in-the-floor manual transmission, so you know it will be fun to drive. No, that’s not a soda bottle under the hood. It’s the factory solvent bottle. It’s still there and still in tact.

The interior has been redone in black and dark grey, making this classic ride look and feel so much cooler. While it may not match the factory “Fawn” color trim code, it creaters a sleeker, more refined look. All of this hot rod’s chrome trim looks near new, with only minor scratches present. And, while the service tag is missing and we can’t verify if this truly is an SS, the engine matches the badge.

Some minor upgrades include an oil pressure and water temperature gauge and Cragar racing rims. It’s on street tires, but these BFGs are narrow in the front and wide in the rear, giving your future ride great street/track grip.

The previous owner was in the process of restoration, so there are some extra parts available too. You’ll want to jump on those.
