Seller’s Description: Barn find car. Was told has not been on road since 1977. I have been buying and working on VW’s for a living since 1972. I have never seen a car as untouched and original as this one. It still has the factory radio delete plate in the dash. I don’t think the engine was ever removed since the car was built. Every hose still has the factory clamps. The original spare which matches the four wheels on the car.The original tool kit with all of the tools and the factory jack and handle. The car has a nice patina which everyone wants today. I did put four new wheel cylinders on and a new master cylinder. Yes, this car runs and drives. It has a new six-volt battery and all of the lights work. The wiring behind the dash has never been fooled with. This car runs like new. Starts right up and idles smooth. There is a set of new seat upholstery with the car. There is some rust on the left rear fender mounting flange and a small hole under the battery. The bottom plate on the frame head is rusted and will need to be replaced. I will include a new one with the car. The car will need new tires to drive for safety. Most of these cars have been butchered up and full of junk parts. I don’t think you will find a more original car.
