Seller’s Description: Selling a 1964 Citroen Camionette. Recently brought out of 10 storage and now fully roadworthy. The van is one of the larger rear body versions based on the two-cylinder 2CV engine and chassis.
With the later 602cc motor and manual 4 speed this smaller hauler can top out around 60 mph and cruise at a steady 55 mph. This particular van has a very solid original chassis and the bodywork is exceptionally rust-free. Most vans of this vintage are very rough. Primary work done has been the removal, cleaning, and sealing of the gas tank, completely new fuel system including fuel pump and carburetor. The master brake cylinder and all-wheel cylinders have been replaced, along with new shoes and in the rear all new brake lines. Five brand new Michelin 125 tires have been mounted. New seat covers and a new steering wheel complement the interior. A new battery, a new alternator, and a big upgrade, a 123 electronic ignition are part of the comprehensive listing of items replaced or repaired.
