This 1966 North Carolina Mustang convertible was relocated to Virginia before it was brought to Ohio in 1976 and added to a growing car collection. The carpet and some parts were removed & placed inside the trunk, and the convertible was packed into a new storage building next to other future classic cars. Recently this convertible was removed from storage for photos and is offered for sale along with the parts shown in the photos.
Having been well-stored in a temperature- and humidity-controlled building until recently, the underside is exceptionally clean. The 8-cyl. 289 cid engine looks in good condition. Since getting the car out, the fluids have not been changed and no attempt has been made to start the car. The engine turns free and easy.
This car is very straight and shows no signs of previous damage. The odometer shows 28,431. The carpet seems in good condition and had been removed and the solid floors are clearly visible. The original A/C unit (included) seems to have been replaced with the one installed in the car. The seats and interior should clean up nicely like the exterior.
