Seller’s Description: This is my 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe with a 289 V-8, 4bbl. carb and 3-speed automatic transmission. Recent upgrades include a new fuel tank, front suspension rebuild, and tune-up/fluid change. The Odometer shows 56,900 miles. The body has had one repaint in its original factory color of Nightmist Blue and it features reverse lights, driver side mirror, and chrome rocker panel and side trim. Polished 15″ American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wear a set of 4 BFG tires sized 215/60. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The interior is upholstered in its original two-tone blue and is in excellent condition. There is an aftermarket upholstered center console and a modern retro style radio. An aftermarket under dash air conditioner is installed but does not operate as the compressor has been removed from the engine. All air conditioner parts and brackets are in the trunk.
The car was originally born with a 200 ci inline-six, but the previous owner replaced it with the current 289 V-8 which runs very well. All gages operate as they should including the steering column-mounted tachometer.
I bought this car for my wife but sadly she died before being able to really enjoy it. I now just need to find it a good home.
