Seller’s Description: Great driving daily transportation. presentable at 20 feet. Just replaced the front grille, bumper, hood latch plate, hood, rt. front fender- all NOS. Rescued from obscurity 9 years ago in San Jose, Ca. Needed everything to be roadworthy. 2 years of repair/replace created a good reliable driver. Interior has been re-upholstered in the original style, prior to me. I replaced the front Windshield, gaskets and rear window gasket, NOS rear quarter window gaskets. AM radio works fine, with a remote rear deck speaker option. I also created a boom box mounted on the trans. hump below the dashboard. Replaced faded gauge cluster, speedometer with newer units. Replaced clockworks with quartz movement kit – keeps perfect time. NOS headliner with original NOS material replaced recently on visors. I installed 3 point seatbelts in the front bench seat for safety, as well as removable headrests front and rear. I have replaced all tie rods, reach rod, with new Moog units. I have a rebuild kit plus two good used front spindles that should be installed. Rear spring bushings replaced in 2020. Good Hankook tires, plenty of miles on them. Recently serviced the drum brakes with new wheel cyl. upfront, with new shoes all around. I have performed a lot of improvements, replacing the master cylinder, Rochester 1bbl carb w/ NOS replacement. Parts are very available to make this car last a good long time. I have a left rear fender, and rear panel to replace the damaged ones currently on the car. I wanted to do so much more to make this a good one. but I cannot do the work any longer. I don’t have a proper garage or floor to work on, and my hands are losing their ability to do the needed work. This is a healthy project that can be driven daily. Does it need more work? yes, Paint is needed, front kingpin rebuilds. The rocker panels are the only rust items found – floors are very sound. I also have so many extra parts to keep the Cruiser on the road. And I have limited time to find it a new home.
