Seller’s Description: Have up for sale one of the holy grails of AMC. 1970 AMC Rebel Machine that has been sitting for years on concrete so underneath is solid and body even is not terrible mostly crinkled fenders some rust. does have 2 holes in front floor boards nothing major. trunk floor is solid interior passenger side seat has a rip buddy seat in middle is the RWB and in good condition has the drivetrain unfortunately I am going to say the 390 motor is locked up and not sure it could be rebuilt maybe if it gets sleeved not sure. The original hurst shifter and T10 trans are there and rear is twin grip not sure of ratio. All the chrome is there except the piece on the front edge of the hood and the trunk lid as the trunk lid is missing. The chrome for top and bottom of the grille are there. The factory tachometer is still in the hoodscoop. As you can see from the pictures it does have the original wheels on it also but is missing one of the centers. This is a project so look pictures over well it is pretty solid car to start with. I think this would give someone looking for a machine to restore its a good start . Thought I would put car here for $12000 obo before going to another auction site. It is also listed locally so don’t snooze to long it could be gone. As the saying goes don’t wait a day as the person who looked yesterday may have made the choice to buy. Sold off all my AMX’s and Javelins so this is last of my AMC cars other than a 70 Mark Donohue Javelin that will be up for sale also.
