Seller’s Description: One owner original paint survivor 1970 Chevelle Malibu 2dr ht in awesome condition. The interior looks like it came from the factory last week, clean, fresh, original, and pure. Purchased this car in 2006 from the original owner when she entered a retirement home. While most of these type vehicles from grandmas are 4dr sedans, Dorothy had bought this more as a wild fling car much earlier in life. Oh yeah, the car is from that dry desert section of southwest Kansas, and the lady bought it from her, her first name was Dorothy. Yep, this car is right out of the Wizard of Oz. Car runs, starts, and drives well. Dorothy kept all the paperwork for this car as it retains the original title and mailing envelope, original bill of sale, window sticker, build sheet, Protecto plate, all warranty books and owners manual, key knockouts in original envelope, all service records, every scrap, of paper possible to save. The original belts are in the trunk with the original wheel covers. The original wheels are included with the car if the new buyer wants them. The only thing I did to the car was install the Rally wheels and white letter tires, and a couple of new batteries. The car is air-conditioned and will need to be recharged if that is important to the new buyer. Even the radio works perfectly. The car retains 3 of its original T3 headlights. The trunk is a benchmark exhibit as is the rest of the car. Run your hand over the top of the inside of the 1/4 panels and they are smooth, even the eyebrow areas over the turn signals are dead perfect. The car is rust-free. The entire car is a benchmark. The rear bumper has a small ding in it, Dorothy said she was wanting to get that fixed, it occurred about 2 months after she bought the car..The top is factory white painted and according to the window sticker, this was a $27 option. They don’t get any better than this, IMO this car is most likely one of the very best survivor 1970 Chevelle 2dr HT’s on the planet, at least in the top 5 or 10. Maybe the best! Have owned this car since 2006 and felt it a privilege to be its steward all these years. As I retire this is a hard car to part with, have not seen a 70 Chevelle this nice and original since the mid ’70s. The car is listed on my retirement auction at VanDerBrinkAuctions.com and the auction ends this Sunday night November 14th. Anyone wanting to inspect the car is welcome to contact Vanderbrink or myself. This is a no disappointments car.
