Seller’s Description: Running and driving restoration project! Oh, the possibilities. 1970 Chevrolet Nova. This vehicle was purchased new at Smith Chevrolet in Fort Smith Arkansas and has spent its entire life in Arkansas. This is a one-owner car (I am a dealer so it doesn’t register as an owner) and there is some bad but a LOT of good. Still equipped with the original 6 cylinder engine and Three in the Tree manual transmission, this car actually runs and drives GREAT. It spent a great deal of time parked in a shed with a dirt floor which was unfortunately not kind to the floor pans. The front and rear floor pans will need to be replaced. The gas tank also has a leak. This car was pulled from its 2+ decade slumber, the gas tank was cleaned, and the tires were replaced with new ones. In addition to the new tires, it also has a new master cylinder and new brake shoes and wheel cylinders all around. This car runs, drives, and stops. I bought it to build possibly a 396 or maybe beefed up the small block but I have had it for 2 years and I am just never going to get to it so I am going to part with it. The miles at 60,002 are original. Restore it to original or do a nice restomod street machine, either way, you can’t lose. The trunk will need some rust repair as well as seen in pictures but the frame is ROCK SOLID as are the rockers, doors, and right side 1/4 panel. The left side 1/4 has some repairable rust and would not require panel replacement (pictured) and the lower front fenders between the wheel wells and the doors are starting to develop some rust . Around the back window has some reapirable rust but is not completely rotted out which is very uncommon for these cars. The car is 100% complete, everything is there. I genuinely hate to part with it but I have several muscle cars in the restoration process right now, so it is time to let someone else build their dream car with this one. Yes, it needs floor pans but other than that it is remarkably solid. These cars are getting very hard to find especially in this condition. Good clean title.
