Asking Price: $7,250 USD
Location: Toronto, Ontario

Title Status: Clean
VIN: GAECKT78072

Seller’s Description: ORIGINAL CONDITION SURVIVOR. VERY RARE. In 2013 Hagerty provided insurance for only 42 examples, officially making the Capri one of the rarest cars in North America. Original California survivor. Drove it home to Toronto from California when I purchased it in 2018. Engine is original 1600 cc 4 cylinder. Some dings and dents but very little rust and only around surface of rear wheel wells. New rear brake shoes and rear shocks. Needs new front struts which I have purchased and will include and a few other items for safety but nothing major. There are very few with no body filler and a clean, original rust free chassis like this one. If they are straight and rust free, they have likely been restored – not originals. This one is ready now for restoration or restomod. Solid platform – whatever your preference. Car now has Ontario title. I have recently installed four new tires, a new OEM carburetor, new starter motor, new battery cable and fan belt. I will also include two front struts. Price is Cdn $9,500 or US $7,250 as is. Car starts well and runs but is not currently licensed. Please note car is a 1970 and not a 1971 so much rarer in terms of original sales numbers in North America.
