1971 Ford Ranchero 500 – 2dr Pickup 8-cyl. 302cid/210hp 2bb *this is a pre smog vehicle before engines got crippled.

Parked next to a barn several years ago with an ignition switch issue and there it set. Bought it, brought it to the shop and got in a little trouble for “Too many damn projects” so going to need to let this one go.

The bad: Interior – dash and carpet in rough shape and a door vent/speaker cover missing. Ignition switch non op and likely other switches ( lights, etc… no longer work. ) No radio. Windshield is cracked. Door window weather seals missing.

Exterior: Both front fenders have a small dent. Tailgate has a rusty spot. The paint is a few different colors of red that was sprayed over blue. Front grill missing a trim piece. Right side tail lamp is broken. Tires were shot were replaced with 4 (decent) used tires that don’t match ( to get it on the trailer )

The good: Is almost complete as in very little missing. Body is fairly straight and almost rust free. Engine does turn over ( by jumping the solenoid – https://youtu.be/UO1xM-QS4Kw ) the bright work is in good shape.
