Seller’s Description: “This car is barely used, and had only 5800 miles on the road when it was left in a warehouse for 40 years. It has been cleaned, repainted and re-chromed. The engine and gearbox has been out for a check, and all fluids, brakes and suspension has been addressed. Since most of these pictures was taken, the wheels has been restored. It shows on two of them. The old rag-top will follow the car but should be renewed.”

This is the prototype of the Intermeccanica Squire SS100, totally 52 built. This cars history, is documented in details, and quite unique. The making of this prototype, and the production-cars around 1970 in Italy, the tour over the pond, the 40 years in the dark and the resurrection five years ago.

The enthusiast club has existed for many years, and lately we have got a new president, with the needed energy to bring the story of these cars back out in the public.

There has been plenty of work and money put into this car the last five years. The efforts has been concentrated in repairing and putting the car back to its original conditions, more than to restoration. Mainly, it has been cleaned in and outside. Every safety issue is addressed with original parts from Ford. All the chrome is redone. Ignition parts is new.The paint is new.
