Seller’s Description: ’72 LeMans Convertible has been garaged and in the family since new. Original paint, interior, and top. Needs quarter panels and fender patch panels to repair lower body rust and a new top. With fresh paint will look great! Transported from New York to California in 2001 with 34,000 miles on the odometer. This was mom’s last car, and she stopped driving soon after purchasing it. In great mechanical condition with a rebuilt engine in Feb 2021 at 47,150 miles, still running break-in oil! All original except for the new motor, electronic ignition, and oil/temp gauges added. Numerous suspension components (arms, ball joints, bushings) replaced with new in 2003-2006. 4 new tires in Oct 2019 at 46,572 miles. 2 extra wheels with old snow tires still mounted. The owner has maintenance records for last 20 years showing mileage and work completed. Original AM radio stopped working but might just need an electronic cleaning. Solid ride is just right – not too sharp or spongy. The doors close with a solid ‘thunk.’ Lots of life left in this classic muscle car, looking for appearance TLC from the right buyer.
