Seller’s Description: Up for sale is a solid, example of a 1975 Volvo 164E. This is a very restorable project and has many new parts. I have put in a new fuel tank, fuel, pump, tailpipe, muffler, new brake pads, and front calipers. New battery, new plugs, wires, rotor, and cap. Full tune-up with fresh oil and runs as solid as a Volvo should. Shifts smooth. Inside the power windows do work, has an Alpine stereo. You can judge this car on its condition inside but overall it is a solid condition. The car has good rubber on it, very low miles on these tires. Now the opportunities, there is a power steering fluid leak, I think it is a hose but have not had the time to dig into this and it has not been too bad. The car does have some dents and dings, it does have some small areas of rust you should see in pictures but nothing that cannot be fixed. I would suggest it gets resprayed. The car was painted but it is just “okay”. To my knowledge the AC works but needs to be recharged, on a good note it is upgraded to R134A. There is some fade on the back seat backing and there is a crack in the dash. I do have some spare parts and original shop manuals I will include with the sale of the car. This is a good car and with a bit of work can be a great example of a strong Volvo 164E. I am asking $3,00 for this car and parts, plenty of value with a little TLC for the next owner.
